“Sometimes, to our dismay, we find that we have been living someone else’s life, that their values have and are directing our choices. While this life we are leading never quite feels right, it seems to be the only alternative. Even when we win the applause of others, we secretly feel fraudulent.”
James Hollis
There are times in life when we face challenges and periods of suffering, uncertainty and confusion.
Working with someone trained to support you can help you understand, cope with, and overcome difficulties, struggles and traumas, leading to greater awareness, freedom, integration, authenticity, and empowerment.
I offer a confidential and considerate space that allows you to feel at ease while exploring your life's issues and concerns.
It is essential to find someone you can trust and feel comfortable with.
My website will provide a sense of who I am and information about my training and approach.
I am a BACP registered therapist in a private practice in Ealing, West London, W5.
I can facilitate the exploration of various topics including but not limited to:
- the connection between the body and mind
- diversity including culture, race, gender and sexuality
- trauma and abuse experienced in childhood or passed down through generations
- the transpersonal
- psychedelic integration
- loss and grief
My approach is integrative and client-centred, drawing from various perspectives to tailor my methods to each individual's needs.
My core training is in Psychosynthesis. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling and a Certificate in Psychosexual Therapy awarded by The Grove and accredited by COSRT at level 5.
I offer 50 minute in-person and online sessions in English and Brazilian Portuguese on a short-term or ongoing basis.
I have worked with clients from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.
I have a background in teaching, mental health support and complementary therapies in the U.K. and abroad.
Previously I worked for a charity as a mental health support worker and saw therapy clients for the Psychosynthesis Trust and Ealing Abbey Counselling Services.
Ethical & Legal Considerations
The use of psychedelic substances is currently illegal in the UK. I kindly ask that you refrain from contacting me regarding requests for illegal psychedelic-assisted work. I provide preparation and integration support solely for harm reduction purposes, ensuring safety and well-being. I do not support or encourage the use of illicit substances in unregulated and illegal frameworks.
Initial Session: an opportunity for you to share about yourself, the issues you would like to focus on, and any questions you may have.
Fee: £65 per 50 minute session
Payments can be made before or at the start of each session via bank transfer or in cash.
We will review our work together as often as necessary to ensure therapy meets your needs.
Cancellation Policy: Reschedules or cancellations — for any reason — must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled session.
We may need to conduct online sessions for 4 to 8 weeks each year depending on individual circumstances.
I am situated between Ealing Broadway and South Ealing stations,
in west London (W5).
The Piccadilly line provides access to South Ealing station.
Ealing Broadway station can be reached via the Elizabeth, Central and District lines and a fast train from Paddington station, which takes about 8 minutes.
I am approximately a 10-minute walk from both stations
or a short bus ride via bus number 65.

Making the most out of your Online Counselling Session
Please consider the following guidelines to ensure a smooth experience:
• Requirements: Ensure you have a desk or laptop computer or tablet, ideally with external speakers or wireless earbuds. Built-in speakers are acceptable but may limit audio quality.
• Technology Check: Confirm that your device has a functioning microphone and camera. Please test your equipment and internet connection before our session.
• Be familiar with the app you will be using.
• Private Space: Select a quiet and comfortable space where you will not be interrupted. Arrange it to be calming, perhaps by adjusting the lighting or clearing distractions.
• Comfortable Position: Sit in a chair that supports you in an upright position with your device at eye level, facing natural light if possible.
• Have something in the room that makes you feel safe and that you can focus on if you are finding your session challenging.
• Have your water bottle filled and available.
• Minimise Distractions: Turn off notifications on your cell phone and computer, and focus on your therapist rather than your own image.
• Post-Session Care: Allocate time after our session to ground yourself.

Focused Attention and Intention
PREPARATION:
In a quiet and warm space, wearing loose and comfortable clothes and having unrestricted breathing
POSTURE:
Sitting
In a upright dining room style chair ideally
Sit towards the front edge of the chair, not leaning back into the chair
Keep your feet about "two feet" (61 cm) apart and back straight
(A good triangular base between your feet and base of spine)
Remove shoes for a very grounding effect
Hold head up straight and drop chin about "one inch" 3 cm to take any tension out of the cervical spine area
Keep the nose in line with the navel and ears in line with the shoulders;
Eyes remaining open, just gazing down at the ground, about 3 feet / 92 cm in front of you. This helps you to remain in the "here and now" and prevents you from daydreaming or becoming drowsy.
Lying on your back
(a restorative position for the spine)
with your head on a few paperback books, knees up, with feet flat on the floor
keep knees and feet a comfortable width apart
Once lying down, placing arms beside your body with palms facing up or hands on abdomen so that they are not touching each other
P.S. Suggestions may vary slightly depending on the exercise.
Mind & Thoughts
2 minutes in nature
Many of us were brought up in a way that values and focus on our intellect, rationality and practical aspects of living to the point of becoming restricted or dominated by them.
This short video is an invitation to focus our attention on this aspect of how we experience life and become more aware of it, examining its qualities while maintaining the point of the observer and recognising that the observer is not that which they observe.
